Meet Our Specialists

Kim Strayhorn

Hi, my name is Kim Strayhorn, owner of Grazia Spa. As we celebrate our 10th year, I am still just as passionate about the industry as I was the day we opened our doors in 2015.

The community of Malvern and surrounding areas, have been truly gracious to us, and we’ve established a real sense of family. It is so rewarding to maintain and build new relationships with clients and work side by side in guiding them as their wellness needs evolve and change over the years. As a consumer, it can be intimidating when seeking out a spa environment offering peace, professionalism, and privacy. Throughout the years, our number one goal still remains the same, to provide a high quality treatment in a serene, and friendly atmosphere, while delivering true definitive results.

As a practicing aesthetician of over 22 years, I enjoy the intimate relationships we have with our clients. And I have been blessed to have created a team of qualified, experienced technicians, whose vision is similar to my own.  We also share in the belief of the mind-body connection, and strive to bridge the gap by offering an escape from the clutter of our minds, in order to find peace within. As new developments, trends, and educational resources continue in the beauty/wellness industry, we look forward to sharing them with you!

Carol Stoup

Hello! My name is Carol Stoup and I have been a licensed esthetician since 2006. After years in the dental field, I decided to pursue a career in the beauty industry where I can focus on helping people achieve their best skin possible. I begin each treatment with a thorough skin analysis which allows me to recommend the most appropriate at home care and treatment plan. I strive to create a relaxing yet professional atmosphere for each and every client. I am committed to furthering my knowledge of the latest ingredients in skin care and current trends in the anti-aging industry. I enjoy treating all skin types from acne to mature skin, and believe that in educating clients, I can help them work towards their desired results! My services include all facials, waxing, and lash/brow enhancements.

Marita Piernock

Hello, my name is Marita Piernock. I am a licensed massage therapist, cosmetologist, and esthetician. Prior to entering into the beauty and wellness industry, I worked in the dental field and the health/fitness field. Working up close and personal with people has always been comfortable and rewarding to me. My career path shifted when I ran into a friend who was attending school for massage therapy. I found myself fascinated and encouraged by our conversation, and decided to embark on a new career in massage myself. Upon graduating, I went to work for a chiropractor, which was also immensely rewarding. Once again, I felt a desire to expand my career and I enrolled in school for skincare. Growing up, as a teen, I had cystic acne, and was self-conscious of my appearance. That difficult experience inspired me to learn more about the skin and how to improve its condition to achieve the best possible results for my skin type and others. I am truly grateful for the opportunities I have had to change careers over the years. My journey led me into a profession that I love and am passionate about. Since I began at Grazia in 2018, I have learned many new and exciting facial treatments, such as the Rezenerate nano-facial, and the Skin Classic for minor skin imperfections. I enjoy combining Swedish half hour massages to my facial treatments, and some of my favorite body treatments are the Himalayan stone massage and body scrubs.

Lisa Gardner

Hi, my name is Lisa Gardner and I have been a licensed esthetician since 2003. After several years of managing an animal hospital in Arizona, the veterinarian I worked for at the time gifted me a series of facials and I became very interested in skin care which prompted me to change my career. I have experience in medical aesthetics having worked for a facial plastic surgeon and for a dermatology practice over the years. Now, I am truly enjoying the friendly and relaxing atmosphere of working in a spa. Facial treatments are my specialty, but I also perform waxing, lash/brow enhancements and airbrush tanning. I am passionate about making my clients feel good about themselves and seeing them achieve vibrant, healthy skin. I still love learning and growing my knowledge in this profession. I can’t imagine doing anything else!

Abby Lazur

Hello! I’m Abby Lazur, licensed esthetician since 2017. My path to the beauty industry has taken me from a degree in graphic design from Drexel University, to acting in numerous local theater companies, to being a SAHM for five amazing kids! I’ve been passionate about makeup and skin care for my whole life, and now I have the opportunity be surrounded by wonderfully like-minded people. Staying current with developments in facial treatments, body waxing, eyelash extensions and microblading is very important to me. I especially enjoy providing brow and lash enhancements. Whatever service you choose, my goal is to have you leave feeling better than when you arrived.

Kate Provasnik

Hi my name is Kate Provasnik. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, then moved to Berks county to attend Kutztown University to study business. After a few years I realized I wanted to incorporate my passion for art and creativity into my work and decided to go to beauty school, graduating from Metro Beauty Academy in 2011. I am a licensed cosmetologist and massage therapist. With over a decade of doing hair, nails, and facials is when I found my true calling for massage and body work. With a love for anatomy, I find the human body fascinating and love to customize my services to my clients' areas of concern. Whether it be neck and back pain or just a relaxing pamper session after a long exhausting week. I specialize in Swedish style relaxation, therapeutic deep tissue, pregnancy and sports. I love to incorporate the use of forearm fusion techniques to get a firm pressure without immense pain. I understand that everyone gives and receives touch differently and that communication and intuition are important elements of every session. I love to learn new modalities and continue to take classes to better help my clients with their areas of concern.

Gina Pisano-Marra

Hi, I'm Gina Pisano-Marra. I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 1989. I was born and raised in the Malvern borough and am thrilled to be a part of Grazia Spa! I specialize in eyebrow laminations, lash tinting, lash lifts, facial waxing, airbrush tanning, manicures, pedicures, and scalp therapy treatments! One of the things I love about being in the health/beauty industry, is that the opportunities are endless for continuing education. And the industry is ever-evolving, offering so many new treatments! Sometimes all we need is a little pampering to help us feel better. Making my clients look and feel better is what makes my job so meaningful.

Marcella Snyder

Hello, my name is Marci Snyder. I am a cosmetologist, massage therapist, and lash specialist. I have been in the beauty, health, and wellness industry for over 20 years. I received my cosmetology license from Jean Madeline Beauty Academy in 2001. After graduating, I worked in a hair salon and realized that I was definitely more interested in the spa industry. While working as a nail technician, I continued my education in esthetics and eventually attended the Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy for my massage license. I became a lash specialist in 2017. I truly enjoy helping people feel their best. Whether it is through a therapeutic massage to alleviate pain, a facial peel to reduce hyperpigmentation, or adding lash extensions to accentuate the beauty they already possess.

Julie Durdaller

Hello, my name is Julie Durdaller! I'm an experienced aesthetician of over 6 years, and an acne and sensitive skin specialist. I treat all types of skin, and perform many types of services, but have a special interest in acne and sensitive skin types because of my own history with acne and reactive skin. Having had severe cystic hormonal acne growing up, I truly understand the connection between acne, physical health, and mental health. During the start of my acne journey I saw an acupuncturist who sparked my interest in this field and my love for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Ayurvedic medicine, and herbalism. Through this lens, skin health and wellness is often a reflection of general health which is why I firmly believe in the importance of quality skincare and intentional at home practices. I love to talk to my clients about lymphatic drainage, hormone health, mental health, and how these play a role in our skin's connection to our bodies. I love to use a combination of both traditional Eastern medicines and current medical treatments to find the perfect balance for healthy skin and overall wellness!

Patti Andrien

I have always wanted to be a massage therapist, and after spending many years in office administration, I decided to make a change to improve the health and well-being of myself and others. Through massage, I work to apply my skill and natural intuition to prove a healing energy for my clients. I continue to learn every day, and I am truly appreciative of the opportunities I have to learn and grow in my practice. My current modalities include hot stone, Himalayan salt stone and bamboo massage as well as therapeutic massage. I plan to add lymphatic drainage and oncology as well as other specializations to my offerings in 2025. I believe it is never to late to learn, change and grow. I am an amateur painter and have recently begun showing and selling my artwork. I also enjoy gardening and hiking in beautiful rural Chester County.

Katarina Curtis
